For anyone new to my blog posts and a quick thanks to everyone that has supported me

Hello, everyone! It’s Cole here, and as I sit down to share with you all, I’m filled with gratitude and excitement about this incredible mission trip ahead. I thought I would wait until I reached training camp to provide updates, but I felt a nudge to connect with you now, to share where I am on this faith journey and how you all have played a part in it.

First, I want to express my heartfelt thanks for the overwhelming support during my fundraising efforts. I’m thrilled to share that I’ve fully funded my trip! It’s such a blessing to be able to embark on this journey without the weight of financial worry. Your encouragement—whether through sharing my posts on Instagram or spreading the word on Facebook—has truly made a difference. Each act of kindness has been a reminder of the community that surrounds me, and I am so grateful for each of you.

As I look ahead, I want to keep you updated through my social media platforms. I’ll be revamping my links to make it easier for you to follow along with my blogs and updates. The new link will lead directly to my blogs, so all you’ll have to do is click, and you’ll find my stories and reflections from the mission trip. If you need to find my page, just type in Cole Hetzel dot the world race dot org, and it will pull up all the latest updates on my spiritual growth and encounters with God along the way.

I plan to document my journey in Jamaica with weekly blogs, sharing both videos and written reflections. Each week will bring a new story, and I’m excited to share the experiences that shape my faith and deepen my relationship with God. I’ll categorize my posts, so you can easily find what’s relevant—whether it’s updates on my training, reflections on my mission work, or just a glimpse into my daily life during the trip.

I want to be transparent about my editing skills; they’re a work in progress! So please be patient as I share raw, unedited footage. I hope that each video will capture my journey authentically, even if it’s a bit rough around the edges. I promise to keep my updates brief and meaningful—most will be around a minute long, so you can quickly catch up on my adventures without feeling overwhelmed.

Thank you once again for your support and prayers. I’m excited for this adventure and the ways I’ll encounter God through serving others. May God bless each of you abundantly, and I can’t wait to share this journey with you all!
